Where is Mexico located?
Mexico is located at about 23° N and 102° W in the southern portion of North America. Yes! Mexico is part of North America and it is not the U.S.A nor Canada.
In other words, it is located south of the U.S.A. and north of Belize and Guatemala.
Why do people often think Mexico is in South America?
We don’t really know the answer to that; however, some ideas are:
- Because it is located south of the U.S.A.
- Because it is a Spanish speaking Nation.
- Because the weather is regularly warmer than in U.S.A and Canada.
- Because we all make mistakes sometimes and it is fine!
